I have always been very passionate about engineering and robotics. My competitive approach to everything I do has helped me not only in robotics, but also in school, in varsity tennis, and much more. The Push Back season will be my 4th continuous year in VEX.
Nehemiah Desousa
Programming & Driver Coach
In my free time, I’m deeply involved in professional karting and sim racing, and when I’m not behind the wheel, I love building things and playing my guitar. I eventually found my way into robotics, and what started as casual dabbling quickly grew into something more serious when my best friend Luca and I teamed up to create the Capyvaders in the 2024-2025 High Stakes Season.

In my free time, I love rock climbing, working out, and doing carpentry, and the focus and hands-on skills I developed through those hobbies eventually helped push me toward robotics. I was invited into competitive VEX Robotics by my robotics teacher, and after taking a gap year during the Over Under season along with Daniel, this will now be my third year in VEX.

In my free time, I enjoy lock picking, playing piano, and gaming, and the mix of problem-solving, precision, and creativity in those hobbies naturally led me toward robotics. I was introduced to competitive VEX Robotics after my robotics teacher invited me to join, and after taking a gap year during the Over Under season along with Seph, this will now be my third year in VEX.
